A year-long senior portrait experience

The Senior Story Series is designed for high school seniors who want more than a single photoshoot. Instead of cramming multiple outfits, locations, and ideas into one long session, this experience breaks the year into four intentional sessions that document personality, style, and growth over time.

This approach allows for creative variety, seasonal changes, and a calmer, more natural experience — for both the senior and the photographer.

What This Experience Is

This is not a traditional senior session.

The Senior Story Series is a storytelling-focused portrait experience that blends light pose direction with movement, interaction, and environmental storytelling. Because of this style, each session produces a strong, curated set of finished images without the pressure of chasing sunsets, traveling between multiple locations, or overshooting.

Each session is intentionally shorter, thoughtfully planned, and focused on quality over volume.

What’s Included

• Four planned portrait sessions across the senior year
• ~10 finished images per session (~40 total)
• Sessions may include:
• Lifestyle portraits
• Branding-style imagery
• Fashion-inspired looks
• Natural movement and environmental interaction
• Sessions may be individual or paired with other seniors when concepts align
• Digital delivery suitable for printing and social media

How It Works

The Senior Story Series is photographed across four sessions, beginning the summer before senior year and continuing through spring of senior year.

Rather than trying to do everything at once, each session focuses on one idea or concept at a time. This allows space to work with the season, the location, and the senior’s energy without feeling rushed.

Sessions are planned in advance so the year flows naturally and expectations are clear for everyone.

Session Planning

Before the first session, we’ll outline a general plan for all four shoots, including:

• Estimated timing (season/month)
• Location type (studio or outdoor)
• Overall focus for each session

This planning helps keep sessions efficient while still allowing flexibility for weather, schedules, and creative adjustments as the year unfolds.

Each session is designed to be focused and contained — one primary concept and one location — so the experience stays relaxed and intentional.

Investment

Senior Story Series — $750

A $300 retainer is due at booking to reserve your senior’s place in the series.

The remaining balance is divided across the final three sessions.

This structure allows families to commit to a year-long experience without the pressure of paying everything upfront.
