THE DMP716 DANCE COLLECTIVE | ICON PROGRAMS

As a dance parent, you’ve seen it: the talent is there, but when the camera turns on, the nerves take over. Real confidence doesn't happen in a high-pressure, one-time shoot. It’s built through experience, consistency, and a supportive community.

DMP716 dance photography programs bridge the gap between studio dance and professional camera talent. We offer a structured pathway designed to help your dancer master the lens, build an elite portfolio, and unlock opportunities—all through a sustainable, professional partnership.

THE DMP716 DANCE COLLECTIVE

Portfolio Development & Camera Training

The Dance Collective is a 12-month immersion program where technique meets technology. This program works on a Rolling admission — join at any time. This is a relationship-building community where dancers learn to become "talent," moving beyond trial-and-error sessions into structured, curriculum-based growth.

How the Journey Begins: Foundations

Every member starts with a private Foundations Session . This serves as your dancer’s first official photoshoot and core training experience. You will receive the DMP716 Foundations Manual and work 1-on-1 with Dawn to master:

  • Movement for the camera: Adapting 3D movement for a 2D camera perspective.
  • The on-set environment: Finding the light, understanding angles, and on-set etiquette.
  • Pose planning and prep: How to plan poses, use visual references, and prepare for a professional set.

The Collective Experience: Unrivaled Variety

After completing the Foundations Session, dancers (parents) select themed group shoots to participate in. Members commit to a minimum of two additional shoots after the Foundations Session, with the option to continue attending more at program pricing. These shoots allow dancers to apply what they learned in training while building a diverse portfolio. Group dates are shared production days, but dancers are photographed individually.

Themes may include:

  • Headshots
  • Commercial dance imagery
  • Improvisation & movement studies
  • On-location shoots
  • Creative concepts involving lighting, fabric, props, effects or motion

Program Fee: $475

Includes: Foundations Session, Training Manual, Private Group Access, and 12 months of eligibility for themed productions.

Image Selection/Delivery: The Top 3 Images curated by Dawn are delivered digitally.

Additional Images: Full details on how to add additional poses to your collection are provided upon enrollment.

THE DMP716 ICONS RESIDENCY

Advanced Creative Production | By Invitation Only

The ICONS Residency is a six-month creative partnership representing the pinnacle of the DMP716 brand. This is not a program you apply for; it is an elite tier reserved for advanced dancers who have demonstrated the movement ability and artistic maturity to serve as the face of our brand.

The Selection Process (The Golden Ticket)

Invitations are strictly by invite only. To be scouted, dancers who are DMP716 Dance Collective members receive the highest consideration. These dancers are attending multiple shoots and developing their portfolio work with Dawn. Dancers considered for a "Golden Ticket," must have been photographed by Dawn at some point. While the Dance Collective Program is the primary way to be seen and trained, Dawn may scout talent through her commercial projects and past private sessions.

The ICON Experience

ICONS move beyond experiencing themed photoshoots and into Signature Productions within a 6-month term to complete branding shoots for DMP716 and partner collaborations. ICONS will participate in 3-5 photoshoots producing the following content:

  1. The Magazine Spotlight: A personal editorial photoshoot, a featured interview in DMP716 Magazine, and participation in a collaborative Magazine Cover Concept.
  2. Brand Modeling: Represent a partnered clothing company in a professional modeling session—includes one outfit of your choice from the session to keep.
  3. Digital & Motion Mastery: Receive all marketing images produced from your Residency sessions, a copy of the magazine, and a dedicated Live Movement Video for professional reels.

The ICON Roster: Once the residency shoots are completed, ICONS are placed on the DMP716 ICON ROSTER for priority consideration for future professional branding opportunities beyond the 6-month term.

Residency Tuition: $900

Includes: All Residency projects, all marketing digital images, Magazine copy, feature & interview, Cover shoot, Brand modeling/outfit, Movement video, Comp card design, and Advanced Manual.
